The terms “energetic”, “creative” and “innovative” are just a few that have been used to describe multiple award-winning designer and visionary J.R. Navarro – Creative Director and Founder of Decoratively Speaking Event® since 1992. The name “Decoratively Speaking Events®” was coined by Sandy Vandenakker. J.R. has teamed up with many well-known and prestigious companies such as Rolls Royce, Audi, Lexus, Acura, The Ritz Carlton, St Francis Drake hotels, Abbott Vascular, The Make A Wish Foundation, Hilton Hotels, Land Rover, Sheraton Hotels, Mercedes Benz and American Express Co. to name a few. With hundreds of events DSE® has been taken notice by the industry and clients from coast to coast. Decoratively Speaking Events® has its roots in the floral design industry. The family owned a florist in the 70′s in the heart of San Francisco, California. J.R. grew up watching his mother Jeanette Navarro create beautiful arrangements. As soon as he was old enough to strip a rose of thorns, he started designing. With the amazing hard work and dedication of his co-workers and designers, Decoratively Speaking Events® is growing each year. DSE’s® vision of creative ideas, elegant cutting-edge décor and a great amount of imagination has had clients returning every year. J.R. developed his creative flair for the corporate world while working as a merchandiser to companies such as Crate & Barrel, Macy’s and even merchandising for a supermarket chain. An alumnus of Ohlone College, and IDI School of Design. Our passion and great commitment to our clients are evident by not only our peers, but customers from all over the US. At Decoratively Speaking Events® we provide “innovative designs for memorable events”. That is not only our mission statement-it’s a promise and goal. Each year Decoratively Speaking Events® participates in Bridal shows. We have been featured in Bride Guide magazine.
